Sermon Audio Files

Starting with the Sunday service on May 14, 2006, you may now download audio files of sermons using three options:

  • You may download the MP3 audio file of the sermon. This is particularly useful if you want to listen to the sermon several times, if you want to load the file on a portable MP3 player, or if you want to burn the file to a CD. In most cases, you will not be able to listen to the sermon until the entire file is downloaded (some computers have software that allows you to start listening to the audio as it is downloaded, and gives you the option to save the file at any time). Each file is about 10 MB in size.

  • You may download the MP3 audio file in progressive mode - this is often referred to as streaming mode. This is particularly useful if you think you will listen to the sermon only once and have no need to store the audio file on your local computer. You will be able to start listening to the sermon just a few moments after you start the streaming process.

  • You may subscribe to our PodCast service to download to your iPod or other MP3 player. To subscribe, use this address:

    in your RSS reader.

    Note: Except for "Juice", setting up your PodCast reader is beyond the scope of this web site (at least, for now). We've tried "Juice", a free download, and found it to be a good tool for downloading PodCasts ... click here for a free download: Download Juice, the cross-platform podcast receiver. After you install Juice, click on the green "+" icon in the menu bar to open the "Add a Feed" window. For the "ULR", paste the web address that is listed above. In the "Episode" window, click on the check boxes for those that you wish to download.

  • The download options and links for batch files and streaming are on the archived sermon notes pages (see links in table below).

  • We continue to offer high-quality audio recordings of the entire service (sermons+music+announcements) in both the Compact Disk and Cassette Tape formats [Details....]
