Keene Howard

Coordinator of Age Level Ministries

Keene has been a part of the Centenary family since her early childhood and has served in a variety of leadership positions during the past several years. She grew up in Lexington and graduated from the University of Kentucky where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and a Master's in Secondary Education. Keene retired from the Fayette County Public Schools in 2004 after 30 years of service in teaching and administration.

In June 2007, upon the departure of the Pastor of Age Level Ministries, Keene has stepped into the part-time role of Coordinator of Age Level Ministries. She assists in the areas of Children, Youth, Recreation, Early Childhood Center, Weddings and Marriage/Family Ministries.

She is a also a member of the Church Council, teachers a young couples Sunday School class, co-leads The Marriage Course with her husband and provides pre-marital counseling as a part of Centenary's Wedding Ministry.

Keene and her husband Greg have two married children, Jason and Shannon, and two grandsons who give them great joy!
