Director of Adult Discipleship and Volunteer Ministries
Though born in Indiana, Andee has lived in Kentucky most of her life and considers Louisville her "hometown." She attended Watterson College, where she enrolled in the Medical Assistant program and went on to spend a few years working in the medical field, followed by several years of being a stay-at-home mom before returning to the work force in 1992.
Upon renewing her commitment to Christ in 1986, God blessed her with a passion for His Church, which He has continued to nurture over the years as she has served in a variety of ministries in several churches.
In the fall of 1998, she participated in Centenary's SHAPE1 church-wide study, where God showed her that His purpose for this time in her life is to help others discover how God has uniquely designed them for the ministry which He has prepared for them to do (Ephesians 2:10). This vision has become reality as she is now blessed to lead SHAPE workshops throughout the year, as well as explore with various members their potential for lay leadership.
Andee and her husband David have three adult children, two of whom are married, and one grandson. In her free time she enjoys reading, quilting and scrapbooking with her daughters.
"May the joy of the Lord be your strength!" Nehemiah 8:10.
1 SHAPE is an acronym for Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experience.
