Global Impact

The Global Impact Team (GIT) administers cross-cultural ministry outside the U.S.

International staff

Centenary provides ongoing support to a number of missionaries serving around the world. We have the complete list of those who receive monthly support, so you can write them or learn more about their ministries.

Short term mission trips

Centenary sponsors several mission trips each year.

Kenya Mission Team—January 16–27

This team will serve the people of Mwimutoni Village just outside Nairobi through medical, economic, educational, pastoral and relational ministry.

Costa Rica Senior High Student Mission Team—March 28–April 5

Team Leader: Richard Grier. This team of 9th–12th graders will travel during Spring Break and will be serving in partnership with the San Jose United Methodist Church and United Methodist Bishop Luis Palomo, Sr.

China Mission Team—Spring 2008

Team Leader: Andee Marks. This team will serve in partnership with the Phillip Hayden Foundation ministering among children and people with special needs in an orphanage in Beijing. Open to adults and families with children ages 13 and older.

India Mission Team—Summer or Early Fall 2008

Team Leader: Julie Broderson. This church planting and leadership training team will serve alongside S.D. Ponraj and the BORN Outreach Network in Bihar State, Northern India, with the purpose of expanding Centenary’s vision to minister among the poorest of the poor and most unreached people groups in the world.
