China Olympic Prayer Challenge

The summer Olympics begins on Friday, August 8th. The Global Impact Team invites you to make this season of competition a time of prayer for China.

China is a key player in God's global team for the evangelization of the world. This Communist nation is home to more than one third of the world's population, contributing one third of the world's economic growth. Additionally, the US receives 20% of its imports from China.

Not only are our countries tied together economically, but the Protestant Church in China is one of the fastest growing movements in the world. More and more Chinese are sharing our belief in God the Father, the Son and the Spirit. Chinese Christians are also becoming a new force in missions, taking their faith to many parts of the globe that are yet unreached with the gospel and are generally unwelcoming to Westerners.
