Financial Peace University
Have you started thinking about how 2008 can be different for you and your family? Are you already thinking about the bills that will come in during January and February after the holidays? Are you worried about your retirement or funding your child's college? There is hope.
Centenary will continue to host our fourth year of Financial Peace University (FPU) classes starting April 6th on Sunday Mornings from 11am to 12:45pm. The class will be held downstairs in the Education Wing of our church (room to be announced). This is our second session in 2008: we've already completed a session that started in January!
Renae Blunt will be the class coordinator. You will find that FPU is about so much more than paying off debt. The class covers other challenging financial issues such as insurance, investments, college funds, and more. The materials are presented by Dave Ramsey on DVD in a fun and engaging manner. Won't you consider taking this first step towards financial freedom?
The classes include discussions on
- debt
- budgeting
- insurance
- saving
- investments
- cash flow planning
- real estate
- relating with money
- careers
- buying big bargains
- collection practices
- retirement and college planning
- buyer beware (discussion on how media impacts our purchasing)
Ask us how to get signed up with Gazelle-like intensity. Course materials are $93 per household (ask us about scholarship money available). The class will fill up quickly, please get your reservation in today.
