The Alpha Marriage Course

In the Spring of 2007, Centenary launched this exciting new ministry for any married couple who desires to build and maintain a lasting, loving marriage. The course is offered in the Fall of each year and runs for eight consecutive weeks on Thursday nights from 6:00-900pm. The cost of the Alpha Marriage Course is $125 a couple which covers all materials, meals and childcare for those who want to bring their children. Scholarships are available on an as needed basis.

The Alpha Marriage Course provides any married couple with the tools to build a strong and healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime. Over eight evenings spent together, couples talk about important issues that can get swept under the carpet in the rush of daily life. While it is based on Christian principles, it is very helpful for any couple with our without a Christian faith or church background.

Greg and Keene Howard lead the study which covers topics including: recognizing each other's needs, learning to communicate effectively, resolving conflict, healing past hurt, knowing how to make each other feel loved, relating to parents and in-laws, good sex, making time for each other, and having fun together. Each evening includes a candlelit meal, a talk on the evening's topic, and plenty of time to discuss the theme together as a couple.
