This year's Men's Retreat will be at Cedarmore Camp in Bagdad, Kentucky again. Whether you are new to church or remember the move from South Limestone, this retreat offers something for you. The retreat is from 9am on Saturday, October 28th to 10am, Sunday, October 29th. The cost is $60 per person.
When was the last time you gathered around a campfire and lifted your voice in praise with other men? It really is an awesome experience! This is a great opportunity to spend time with other men of Centenary. All too often our busy church schedule keeps us from getting to know each other or spending time together. Our annual retreat allows us a chance to take just a little time for ourselves. We have fun, we compete, we worship, and we build each other up.
Using a small group format, we will explore the prayer life of a man. We will talk about what gets in the way, holds us back or keeps us down. We will draw on the experiences of other men of our church as we seek to make prayer a daily occurrence for us all. We will share what we do know about prayer, what we don't know, what works and what doesn't. We will also offer special times of prayer for those who desire it.
